Process.
Skrat Studio is the collaboration between photographer Cameron MacPhail and painter Agathe Guttuhaugen, a husband-wife duo based in Oslo, Norway.
Our practice begins with miniature abstract compositions in mixed media, which we document through macro photography. By enlarging the small, we create works that challenge perception and elevate the intimate to a monumental scale. We are interested in materiality, intuition, and sensory experience -- and how these elements shape our relationship between medium, technology, process, and with each other.
